Why's the site called 'Everything But Work'?

Simple: I like doing creative things. Whether it's drawing, making music, coming up with stories, collaborating with friends, or just daydreaming about future things I'd like to try. I don't consider it work at all because I actually enjoy it. Plus, doing these things aren't part of my day job (although I'd rather they were) so, this is pretty much everything I do when not at the 9 to 5.

So, what is my dream job?

Just let me make stuff! I'm totally fine with working alone (at my own pace) or with cool people & pay me a livable wage. I wouldn't mind working forever if that was the case, but if somehow I got ridiculously rich, retire, & move to some beautiful locale - I wouldn't fight against that either.

What else do I want to do creatively?

I'd like to continue making stuff in every medium that I want to experiment with & tell stories in. I'll keep making songs alone or in some collaborative capacity too.
